Protocol

The following protocol applies to Gibco Goat Serum from Invitrogen (Order No.: 16210).

  1. Defrost the serum (takes a long time- maybe overnight in the fridge is practical)
  2. Heat inactivate for 30 min at 56C
  3. Cool on ice and aliquot into 50ml Falcon tubes.
  4. Keep at -20 C
