- clean the ampuls with ethanol

- transfer the DMSO into the 15 ml FALCON tube

- pipette in each 50 ml FALCON tube 18 ml High serum

- put into each 2 ml DMSO and mix

- aliquot the freezing media into the 5 ml FALCON tubes (4 ml per tube)

Material

  • DMSO (one ampules from Sigma)
  • High serum for A1 cells
  • 2x 50 ml FALCON tubes
  • 1x 15 ml FALCON tube
  • Pipettes
  • 10x 5 ml FALCON tubes

Procedure

  1. clean the ampuls with ethanol
  2. transfer the DMSO into the 15 ml FALCON tube
  3. pipette in each 50 ml FALCON tube 18 ml High serum
  4. put into each 2 ml DMSO and mix
  5. aliquot the freezing media into the 5 ml FALCON tubes (4 ml per tube)
  6. store the tubes into –20ºC
